The heroine of this film is in a difficult situation – her young son has been abducted and now it seems to her that he will never be found. She appeals to law enforcement agencies, after which all the forces of the city were thrown into the search for the boy. The measures taken were not in vain, very soon the child is found and handed over to the woman. But after a while, she was forced to contact the police again, claiming that the boy she found was not her son at all, although the resemblance to him was striking. <br />

The police did not take the woman's claims seriously, and then she decides to contact journalists. The authorities cannot allow such a major scandal to break out, so they decide to make it look like a woman has lost her mind and, apparently, needs specialized medical care. That's how she ended up locked up in a mental hospital, but not for a minute did she lose the drive that eventually helped her carry out her independent investigation.
